Wallpaper

So a bunch of people have been helping with the new house I bought. However, there is more work to do than I expected. First of all, there’s the wallpaper. Wallpaper is the devil’s gift to man. If man were to ever have created something bad, wallpaper would be at the top of the list. Now normally wallpaper isn’t as bad to take out as I’m making it out to be, but it still sucks. Especially when you have wallpaper over the stove area. The previous tenants, yes tenants since the house was being rented out, didn’t do a great job keeping the oils and grease from their cooking from clinging onto the wallpaper. Nor did they seem to try to do anything along the lines of cleaning those hard to reach places. That said, that particular area of wallpaper SUCKS!

So let make it a point to say that if you ever put up new wallpaper in your abode, I will stop talking to you. I can already imagine people starting to put up wallpaper now in order to make sure that I’m not in their lives, but you’ll be sorry either way

“In another discovery of culinary heat transfer physics, Dr. Myhrvold said the bulbous shape and black color of Weber grills were wrong. To achieve an even cooking temperature across the cooking grate, the inside of the grill should be vertical and shiny to reflect the heat.”

Pueblito viejo

So I went out with friends last night and ended up at this place called Pueblito Viejo (I think that’s how it was spelled). I keep being surprised at what kind of clothes Latin women wear, and how some of those cougars can use their hips while dancing. Then again, I can shake it like a polaroid picture.

Oh, then there was that crazy guy who said that he practically owned the place, which is always a sign that you’re gonna get scammed. Remember that kids, when some one says they practically own the place, orders a round of shots and afterwards says who is ordering the next round, you know you gonna have to get ready for a Mexican showdown. Even if the other guy is Columbian and “his” restaurant makes tasty empanadas.

Cue the good, bad and the ugly theme music…
